Ahhhh yes, hadn't thought of that.I
It sits around 1000mbar if I recall correctly, which makes sense to me as that’s atmospheric pressure
Your logic is more logical than mine.

I’ll send it later if I have a log saved or Wednesday if not, the 1.4 is off the road at the moment as the clutch has gone, I’m driving the FSI as I’ve just got that back on the road.
ECU info:
I didn't think you could write, (other than soft coding), via OBD. I believe it is a bench job, am I mistaken?Yes that is the “middle” version, 5949 is the latest version for BBY.
I can’t promise it will work, but that code is mentioned as one that is “fixed” by an ECU update.
A dealer should be able to do it, however, they need a VAS 5051. That tool isn’t used anymore, so you would have to get lucky that your dealer has kept theirs and has someone who is willing to use it.
Other options are:
1. Get a new ECU with that version
2. It should be possible to write a program to do this update using a VCDS or KKL cable, I will be looking into this and it will have its own thread.
