Today I.....

This looks like it, it's Denso, and a bit less expensive than the Audi part. Opie suggest contacting them to make sure, so I'd do that.

This listing shows a part with a 7/16" 20 UNF-2B thread, which is about 11.1mm, so it does not fit my car. I have an early 2001 AUA, so perhaps they changed the condenser at some stage, and thus the G65? This may explain the confusion.

I have a new Febi 1K0 959 126 E available FOC, for a donation to the club, if anyone needs it!!

LLL parts show a part number of 8E0 959 126, which is correct. Beware those sites that show this as applicable for the larger item!!!

The MOT is due this Saturday & I noticed last night as my wife reversed down the drive a number plate light out😱😭. As the forecast is for heavy rain tomorrow after I finish work I thought I'd take a look tonight. Both screws had snapped off before and where still in solid and pretty flush with two other screws holding a cracked lens in down the side of them. (I have got another tailgate section in a similar condition to refurbish) I had bought a couple of sets of LEDs so I have opened up the holes to 5 mm and sanded down the sides so the lens will fit in the recess and touch the contacts. So I now have two working number plate lights albeit night & day when on. I didn't touch the other side because the screws are even worse.

Blimey what a difference

I’m getting ready to change out the front shocks and springs on Rosie as she’s got a broken spring. I’ve bought this to help with the awkward bolts on the top mounts. Apart from spraying plus gas around the captive nuts what suggestions do you have to make this job a bit easier….?
I removed them last month and it took me whole weekend to slowly drill and dremel away all 3 bolts In my case I removed the shock and spring then drill two of them out and last one I dremel the bolt from the top so it felt trough. Nothing helped regarding soaking they were solid seized. Surprisingly cheap aldi lidl drill bits for 6 quid did the trick.

Make yourself comfortable, maybe some time ...
Mac.

Especially when I’m an Apple person for exactly these reasons

I’ve got RossTech & Mercedes WIS to get working, maybe BMW if I talk to my brother

Purchase is partly prompted from the recent threads suggesting going for a 20min drive and logging

Old laptop will only last about 5mins without power and creaky

For the G65 High Pressure switch in the climate system there are only 2 valid part numbers and are fully interchangeable. They are

8E0959126 or 3R0959126
