bleep

My A2 is set up to give a reassuring bleep when I lock it, provided all doors, windows, inspection flap are closed. I thought this list included the fuel flap but today I noticed that the flap was open but the car still bleeped on locking. Is this correct? If not, is there a flap micro switch...
