Not a good day. First dented my iPad, then received a call from Audi Victoria that the intermittent amber steering wheel alert on my DIS was being caused by the car's control system not recognizing my ABS Control Unit. The cost to rectify this? £1644! I have until tomorrow morning to give them...

I believe my 04 TDi is due a cam belt and I understand that this could cost around £350 without the water pump. Has anyone done this themselves or are special tools/expertise required? I have done it on other cars but don't want to start something I can't finish. Cheers
