1.2Tdi Accumulator 6N0142433

It seems that the above is no longer available from Audi/VW. There is a Febi alternative but an adapter is required. Mankmil on the German forum should be able to supply both. English is OK.

Both dad and I are using this solution and I believe @chumsofmanutd has recently purchased and adapter for his and some spares to go on the shelf for others wanting to do the same.

I found an original Audi one 3 months ago but it is good to have a new solution. Isn't the accumulator also used on the VW XL1? It seems strange that they would not have at least a few for that car.

What do you think of it? Does the alternative febi sphere render more shifts between pump activation, or other positive things? Curious since I got two of them delivered home today for my 1.2TDIs.

I was getting an extra two shifts post so I’d rate them positively.

Isn't the XL1 even more of a Hen's tooth than a 1.2tdi in the UK?

It looks as though the XL1 has a similar solution to the Up's automatic gearbox, where the gears are changed (slowly) by electric motors. That's why the XL1 has two clutches and no manual override.
