2T oil still in use?

Hello . As a new member , one of the best things I learned from club has been the use of 2T oil in diesel, at the proportion of 1:200.
I use it with good results at the moment and agree with the benefits.
The question is : STILL IN USE by the owners of Diesel engines?
In affirmative case, which is the best: Sint, semi, or mineral ?. One guy in YouTube recommended only mineral. It makes sense and also is cheaper.
Thanks

I tried running a few tankfuls of JASO FC (semi-synth, with extra cleaning detergents - read from this post onwards in the thread on this) but could detect no discernable difference in terms of fuel economy, noise, vibration or anything else.

Mind you, I stopped fuelling with Millers Diesel Power Ecomax to try it out, so it could be that I was already getting the expected benefits from that - I most certainly did notice a difference (mainly in engine noise) with using that.

As using the millers is cheaper (one £12 500ml bottle does at least 11/12 tanks at the recommended 1000:1 ratio depending on how far you run the level down before filling up, vs one £10 1L bottle of 2T oil only does 5 tanks at the recommended dose of 200ml per tankful) - I decided it was a no-brainer to stick with the purpose-made product in the Millers: It's cheaper, it's a fuel system lubricant, it's a detergent AND a cetane booster all in one. 2T oil will only lubricate and clean.

Therefore, my recommendation is try the Millers over this. Others' opinions will vary I'm sure.
