A2OC Donor
Sadly, my A2 ownership ended today, with the sale of my A2 to a forum member who has big plans for it!

This has been an extremely helpful and lively forum which has helped tremendously in keeping my A2 on the road. Many thanks to the guys at WOM as well for all the work done on my A2 throughout my ownership; it's hard finding a garage you can really trust!

I hope I can still come by to socials to take photos of A2s, despite going from 3 to 5 cylinders ;) (I'll park somewhere far away, I promise!)

Also the few socials I’ve been to your photography has been excellent please don’t let the fact you don’t have an a2 put you off

That says Volvo to me (I am similarly afflicted :D) but earlier than the VEA unit which has sadly replaced all the interesting engines with 4-pot designs across the board.

Anyway, good luck and as already expressed, don't be a stranger :)

It is, indeed, a Volvo. And an oil-weeping one at that!

It's funny, I bought my A2 with no service history, bar a handwritten note on some random page of the service book, of a timing belt change, and it ran just fine. This Volvo has full service history and has never failed an MOT in 12 years and it's raining oil down there!

Testament to the German engineering I suppose. At least the Volvo's comfy. :)
