Hello guys!
I am a fan of Audi A2 and I absolutely enjoy driving this car.
I was wandering what to do with the unused space under the handbrake. I was also missing some more extra space where I could put my wallet and some small things. So I decided to sculpt this handbrake tray, which I think is a very clever use of the unused space, and print it with 3D printer Ender 3. I stuck it with foam double-sided tape.
Here is the result:

Then I put non-slip pad on it. I posted it on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6563077) and it is free to download. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
What do you think of it?

That's very clever I wonder why Audi didn't come with something like this. I bet they stopped any extra additions into the car when they realised how much the car will cost and how much they losing on each car around 6k if I remember correctly.

Right! It's a shame they didn't continue to develop more... I'd also love it if Audi did something with the part above the center vent. I think it would be nice if there was some air cooled storage space.

Afternoon,

The original solution can also be adapted to accept the factory QI wireless charger:

Both my Jaipur fleet have these fitted.

Although this method of smart devices charging I’m sure it’ll only be a matter of time before VAG introduce something else which can be added; certainly into an aftermarket solution anyway.

Kind regards,

Tom

I managed to get an original measured and reproduced slightly wider and longer than the original. 3D printed in black.
