Chat CCCU refir

Don't refurbish it, it has a faulty chipset. Replace it with an AF-suffix unit, for which you'll need to get new remote sections for your keys. There are people on here who can reprogram the remotes to the CCCU for you. If you have rear electric windows, you'll need an AE-suffix unit or an AF that's been coded to recognise them.

Welcome to the Club where you’ll find everyone extremely helpful and will go out of their way to remotely assist.

Ian @Proghound above is absolutely right regards obtaining an AF revision CCCU as it’s the more reliable module. I do have a spare Q CCCU which would work but best to follow Ian’s advice.

Within your welcome email there should have been mention of upgrading your account. If you do that then you’ll be able to access the Clubs Market Forum where you might find what you’re looking for. You’ll require VCDS for coding it to your vehicles specifics which is easy enough, happy to talk you through the process if you have access to VCDS. If not then I’m sure you’re probably not too far away in Lincolnshire as I’m only down the road just outside of Leicester. Up until recently I commuted to Lincoln daily so know the route well.

If you do obtain a replacement CCCU and get stuck with matching it to your vehicle then get in touch. I’m sure we could easily meet up somewhere and have you all sorted in minutes.

Thanks guys. I will try get hold of an AF (manual rear windows) and seek assistance on keys. Currently refusing to central lock at all, can only do drivers door manually. Thanks also for offer of assistance Tom, unfortunately car is now up in tje lake district.
