Coolant thermostat replacement

Anyone have a link to buy the correct coolant thermostat to replace one that's stopped working, bought one that I thought would work (OEM) but it didn't fit- reluctant to pay the £65 to get one from Audi
 
I ordered one of these for my 1.4 TDI (BHC) had it fitted last week and it’s solved the problem of my temp gauge never reaching 90c (usually stalled at 80c), Genuine part too.

About the picture, I'm wondering why the EPC light isn't on before starting the engine, like with 1.4 petrols. Is it different with diesels?

It’s different with the diesels, they have the Glow Plug symbol instead of the EPC, and which goes out once the glow plugs are up to temperature.

It’s a stupid price but the only one that a lot of us finds works correctly. If it opens too early you waste fuel with the engine running cool longer. Imo
