hi i hope this is in the right place(if not please move it) also i hope this doesn't conflict with any forum rules(please delete if it does). i have had my a2 for a few months and love it. it's a 1.6 fsi with 27,000 miles on a 53 plate. when going home through chelmsford i looked down at the dash to see the engine manegment light on solidly. oh bother i though--all was running smooth so not sure why. i googled for an independent that could scan my car locally. well i found this companyhttp://www.coggeshallauto.co.uk/ i took it to him lunch time very nice man scaned my car and found two fault codes 1st was intake manifold pressure out of range 2nd was failed emissions test. or something to that effect, he asked if i had had a scan before i said no. we cleared the errors and had a chat about the car's running and sugested that the errors could have been there for a long time and to drive it and see if it comes back on. i have now done 70 miles and its still off so fingers crossed.
his workshop was very clean, tidy and professional. i told him about the owners club and that i had no luck finding anyone in the essex area on the site to scan my car. so i have added this thread i have no interest in this company and this is my only dealing with him but i will be taking my car to him for a service in a couple of months time. he tells me that he looks after 3 other a2's so maybe i can spread the word of the owners club aswell.
