Electric window problem

So both windows from their relative switches do not work.
Passenger window works from the driver's door switch.
Electric mirror works.
Neither window works from key remote.
Central locking via switch and remote working.
I've already replaced the driver's window motor and control to no effect.
Bypassed the window switches but no response.
Any ideas?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 mins?

AF is known to be reliable especially when compared with Q/F

Are all fuses good?

May well be worth asking our resident electrical expert Timmus

A well founded rumour suggests that said sage will be back from his travels in about a week. Without doubt the man for the job.

That sounds great Mac ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
Sorry for the delay in coming back to you.
My perusing of the electrical schematic didn't give me any clues. Too many controllers involved, and too little knowledge of them on my part.
One thing I should have suggested, in the first place is to scan the car, as that is quite likely to point to the source of the problem. I'm guessing some sort of interlock, (micro switch, possibly), is the prime suspect.
Mac.

Hi Mac
Iโ€™ve tried replacing all the relevant modules to no avail โ€ฆ Iโ€™m thinking the door loom is my number one suspect โ€ฆ going to check the continuity of that . Hopefully find a break there. To me, even without a scan the CCCU via canbus ainโ€™t talking to the door module. Weโ€™ll see ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
Dunc.

A scan may save you a lot of hassle. Still, I'm guessing you don't have your own scan tool. Really is worth serious consideration, especially if you have access to a Windows laptop
Mac.

Checked out the loom at the A pillar and there was evidence of some repair work which had broken down again... bypassed that and everything started working
Going to fit a replacement loom and that should be things sorted....Result๐Ÿ˜„!

Replacement loom now fitted and all is working as should.
