FSI Oil recommendation for UK use

Apologies if this has been discussed before. I'm sure it has but I can't find it!

I want to change the oil on the 1.6FSI. Which oil will do the biz since a trawl on t'internet brings up various viscosity to comply with VW spec 500-00, 502-00, 501-01 now replaced with 505-00 !!!!

I think it would be 5w 30 since 0w ? Is for cold climes and ?w 40 would be a bit thick when the engine is up to operating temperature.

Recently I've had the dreaded red genie lamp come on so will check the actual pressure with a pressure guage. The oil level looks fine.

I use this in the A2 and the TT.
Search for best price. Last time I bought, it was Amazon.

Lots of sources, just Google it. Amazon is often best price, but only if free delivery. Ebay, a bit more, but usually free delivery.
You can also buy it over the counter, from TPS, but probably dearer.
