Hi, thought i'd introduce myself.

My name is Pete and ive just bought a 53 plate TDI sport, I pick it up tomorrow!
Im not new to the A2 though, I bought my Missus a 6month old demo TDI SE back in 2003. We sadly parted with it in 2007 as the wife fancied an A4 cabriolet (big mistake!)

Anyway, this time round the A2 will be MINE as i'm now selling my VW Caddy van. I've been involved in the VW/AUDI scene for quite some time and have owned a range of air and watercooled VW Group vehicles. The current lineup in the driveway is a Touran TDI Sport, a 2008 Caddy van (soon selling) and a modified T25 caravelle (german look).

Plans for the A2 include Installing some kind of SE style false boot floor, Genuine body kit (if i can find one) and also do 'something' with the wheels. im pretty sure i will chip it too, so look out for me posting about these things as i get around to them!

I also have VAG-COM if anyone around Castle Donington needs anything doing for beer money.

I look forward to being part of the club!
 
Welcome to the club Pete, you should put some pictures up. What plans do you have for the wheels.

Hi Pete and welcome, there was a full gen body kit in the for sale section not too long ago. I'm also a hard core VW man ;o) its still in the same family so I'm sure it will all look very familiar to you under the audi skin. Lots of good info on here so do a search before you try anything it may save you time, good luck with the project.

I Got my A2 home this evening and the wife took the key straight off me and went out in it for the night!

Anyway, i must go and reply to everyone whos pm'd me offering me a bodykit!
