How to fit the OEM thermostat to the housing 1.4 TDI

This is how the correct Audi OEM thermostat fits into the short thermostat housing on a 1.4 TDI. These are new parts and show the undamaged condition.

Perfect thanks for posting - you might have an issue with using a non-OE thermostat though.

From the pictures it is very easy to get the impression you are fitting an OEM thermostat, and into an Topran flange? (or housing)

I bought a very long laser wrench double ended to do this, one end receives sockets other end receives Torx bits can send picture if required
