Insurance renewal quote

Oh dear this made me laugh.
Just got my renewal - 320 quid. Did Quickquote - lowest quote from that is 250 quid.
Highest quote though was a thoroughly laughable £11,000!!!!!!!! WTF? Made me spit out my tea!

Perhaps the £11,000 quote was from a broker that has seen you drive !!!

I had my renewal - they had taken a whopping £12 off for the year! - I cancelled right away and found something £200 cheaper

Now that £11k is what we in "the trade" would call an FRO quote (I'll leave you to fill in the words)

Just had my renewal through from Admiral - £587, living in London with 3y NCB. Did a little checking around and knocked them down to a round £500 basis a few additional quotes. But still had an FRO of £1,250 from LV for the same details.
