Ipad and IPhone 6 in A2

Thats a very good piece of kit and well executed. I've always thought the space above the vents is wasted, would make an ideal space for a pop-up screen. I'm pretty sure a member has done something with theirs 'Dan b'?

The mod shown in the link is from a member. pocoloco has an amazing A2 and this is an example of how he is not afraid to try new things. I would rather keep my air vents but this is a great mod that many would consider.

I really like seeing people trying something different.

David, (DJ190) is another member that likes to find innovative mods.

The more the merrier

I like that a lot!
I don't use vents or cup holders, but where can you get that iphone/ipad holder?

The youtube link? He was just showing the finished mod and tapping on igadgets...

That is strange, it must be old age creeping up on me again, I could have swore that the clip started off with him moulding the IPhone surround/mount.

Perhaps he modified the video and removed it?

You are not going mad there was another thread on here before this one with this link

It is how you thought the build process, we both commented on that one

What about the charging?
It is not normally required.
The iPads run for 10 hours without charge and a fully charged iPhone will last even the longest journeys.
A quick top up from the cigarette socket if necessary.
Tgat was why I opted for iPads in the headrests instead of DVD screens, no wiring necessary. (Bluetooth if you want sound too)

I don't know about a 6 or mini ipad, but I have iphones 5 and 5s, which I drive with all the time, they both need to be charged after 3-4 hours when they are on cellular/4G. My ipad 3 lasts almost 30 hours, even when on 4G, but ipad 2 needs charging after 7-8...

The 6 is slightly better for power consumption than the 5.

I used to switch off the WiFi when travelling, that seemed to drain the battery and it was recognising lots of wifis all along the road and checking to see if it could connect.
