Is it time to let go?

It’s well worth travelling to a garage that’s going to know their stuff. You could spend a fortune and get nowhere
Agreed a good garage is worth travelling to.

During the pandemic I had to use a garage close to me for my MOT, not sure what they were looking at but one of the advisories talked about extensive corrosion to the underside of the car. Is there aye?

B&F autos got to be worth a try,
I wouldn’t be giving your current garage any more business if it was mine
Keith.
A thumbs up here for B&F Autos - I’ve been using them for the last 4/5 years and can genuinely say that they have spotted and addressed things that other A2 specialist garages clearly haven’t, while also being entirely pragmatic in their recommendations. I live in SE London and as we don’t need a car daily, I often leave the A2 with B&F, but take the Brompton and use the excuse for a good ride back!

If they ever decide to shut up shop, it really would make it much harder for me to stay in the A2 fold, which sounds like your situation if you stick with your current garage.

Thank you. I do the same with my Brompton :) just maybe back to the nearest crossrail station here rather than north London!
