Module 09 in A2 on CAN?? Plz confirm.

I have got VAG-COM KKL without HEX, older version. I can do the diagnose A2. Everything works fine exept module 09 - central electric. One guy told me, what this part is CAN-controlled, so without interface with CAN it can't be done. :eek:

Could anyone confirm what? I suppose what our car isn't on CAN...

VAG-COM told me, what modules above could/should be present:
01 - engine
02 - automatic transmission
03 - ABS/breakes
08 - Climatronic
09 - central electronic
15 - air bags
16 - stearing
36 - seat memory driver
37 - navigation system
45 - int monitor - WTF is what??
46 - module of comfort
55 - xenon
56 - radio
76 - park assisstant

I have almost basic version of equipment, so i can comunicate with 01, 03, 08 (after changing port settings), 15 (i suppose) and 46. I don't expected anything else, because of equipment. Only "suspected" presence of Central electric. But, maybe some versions have it installed as an option, maybe those with a "big" board computer?

It seems your Vag-Com is very wrong: there is none of the following fitted to A2s - 09, 16, 36 or 55 (apart from my A2, which has 16 and 55, but only because I have retro-fitted them).

Also, it is missing a vital module, 17, which is the instruments.

45 by the way is the module for the interior volumetric monitor, the little thing with a grill in the headlining, separate from the light panel.

Gosh! Instuments! Of course i missed what part. It appear in my version VAG-COM. That configuration of modules to test also appear in VAG-COM 311, 409, 512 (what i checked). Look at AutoScan.txt.

Maybe - i won't argue with you - some version A2 have that equipment and so also the drivers. I haven't possibility to vag-com's check Audi with, by example, automatic transmission, or parking assistant system, so i can't judge.

Anyway, thank you for enlighten :)
 
Having the latest version of VAG-Com (803), I can say with confidence that the modules I list are correct.

The earlier versions of the software have obviously been improved on and that probably explains the differences.

In our distributor latest version is... 704.2 (translated to polish with proper VAG-HEX interface). Hundred years after rest of the world... :D
