Hi Guys

Been looking around for a while so thought I'd join

I picked up my A2 in December last year and loving it so far.

Managed to get what looks to be a rare beast from what i've been reading on here, not on spec but what I paid for what I have.

I have the 1.4 TDi Sport (90bhp)
with 17inch wheels (curbing comes as standard on these ;-) )
69K miles with full dealer history
and paid £3600

I love the fact that it pulls so well away from the lights and all the way through the gears, though I do find the shift between very short due to high revs.

It's a fun little car and reminds me of my days driving clasic mini's

Wow!!!! assuming the car is otherwise clean - fix those wheels and you'd stand to make the better part of 2 grand on your purchase if you chose to sell! ( but I'm sure you will be keeping it) Well done on an amazing bargain, I'd be interested to know how you manged to pick this up for 2001 model money if you would share.

Hi Darren,

Nice sounding spec! The 90hp 1.4TDi does shift pretty quickly!!! Enjoy the drive for a bit then start saving for FSD's, if you go for a ride in an A2 with them you will want them! It happened to me!

Thanks for the welcomes.

I won't be selling it in a hurry.

I work for an Audi dealership it was a trade in against a new A1 we sold the car new in 2004 and have looked after it since the previous owner maintained it fully so I know the whole history from day one.

It's in good condition through out the only modification so far is a Parrot bluetooth kit.

I do find the ride a bit harsh but can forgive that.
