"New" yaw sensor arrives tomorrow - what now?

Following on from this thread I ordered a yaw sensor from Ebay. It turns up tomorrow so, time/weather/misc permitting I'll aim to get it fitted pronto.

The big question is "how?"

Am I right in thinking that I can get to it from the passenger foot well? Remove the screw cover on the centre console, unscrew the revealed screw and gently shimmy the panel off? Unbolt the old sensor (which will be where?), bolt on the new one and reassemble. I assume clear the error codes on VCDS after that?

Anything to watch out for? Reluctant side panel? Awkward bolts etc? All pointers gratefully received!

How do I disconnect the connectors to the sensor? I'm in a stress position in the passenger footwell!

And how do I get the sensor out of the housing?

push down the tabs on the plug and pull , once disconnected you will have a screw which removes the plastic cover then two nuts .
