No response to key fobs

Hi All, I have been struggling for some time now with our A2 not responding to the keyfobs, initially only on frosty mornings but now every morning. I have changed the fob batteries twice, and once having unlocked the car manually, it will be fine and respond to the fobs until it has been left for about 3 hours, then nothing. I purchased a HEX+CAN usb lead from Gendan and ran an auto scan, which came back with 01330 central control module for central convenience (J393) 37-00 faulty. Could this be the cause of my remote locking woes? I have consulted Elsawin and it suggests:-
Dash panel adaption not performed correctly
"1" not displayed in measured value block=>Page 01-62 for central convenience control unit
Open circuit in wiring or short circuit

I spent a whole day yesterday and found no open circuit or short following the current flow diags, however I found them pretty difficult to follow so impatience got the better of me and I thought I'd see if anyone could give me a little guidance. I am a newbie to Vag-com and do not want to meddle with values etc without some idea as to the outcome of such meddling.
Anyone have any suggestions, please.

Thanks for that but I've already tried re-pairing and it has not improved matters. What puzzles me is that once I unlock the car manually with the key, it responds to the fobs perfectly alright and only stops responding to the fobs after leaving the car for around 3 hours!!!

As you have a full HEX+CAN i/f, can you send me a complete scan please and I'll have a look into it for you.

It' may be a case of re-matching keys into the cccu (re-matching is different to re-syncing), or it may be the cccu that needs replacing - not uncommon (Manchester Audi have sold 5 this year alone!).

Cheers,

Mike

It turns out that it is the CCCU that is in need of replacement, a local Independant has quoted £180 plus vat for a new one, so its booked in with them this Saturday. At least the central locking will be sorted, even if it is at the expense of many beer vouchers!! Thanks to all for their assistance / suggestions.
