Hi there
I have the dreaded passenger door won't open blues
Seems to be lots of posts about this joyful fault ....
I'll strip the inner door further tomorrow but it seems like the first test is to get a new door control / drive unit and hope thats it
Can anyone tell me (before I dismantle the car doors further ) if I could use the door control motor unit from the rear door to test if this is the problem
From the reading I have done its this units to test first - then if no joy try to mess with the lock itself! yuk.
Photo attached of the door control unit- suspect /hope ill be needing one of these soon
Any idea who might have one ? 2001 petrol 1.4 a2
