Having now used the last of our remaining stock of 2nd Class Large Letter stamps, sadly I've had to revisit the postage charge in the A2OC Shop for badges and stickers. The Shop absorbed the previous increase in the price of the stamps, but the new batch of stamps I bought today now cost more for each one than the £1.50 P&P that we were charging!
The P&P amount has to cover not just the stamps, but also for the smaller items, the cost of the padded envelopes we ship them in, and the fixed portion of the PayPal fees on each order payment. It then has to be 'grossed up' to reflect the percentage portion of PayPal's fees, so that once this is deducted we still receive the correct amount to cover all the above costs.
As such, postage of orders consisting of just stickers and/or badges will now come in at £2 per order. This is still a few pence shy of the true cost to the Club, but it's close enough and it's a nice easy round figure. Postage for any orders which include number plate surrounds will remain at £6.50 for now.
