Having read lots of things about people getting Stealth re-maps done and being very pleased with them, I thought I would try. I did this and have been very, very happy. However.... Too much of a good thing can be bad..... I want more!! More power Igor!!! What can I do?

Has anyone here ever been back to Vince after a re-map and asked him to up the power even further? Is this possible? What else can I fit/remove/tweak to give me even more torque and power? Fuel additives? Exhaust? Cams? Is there anything else?

Well, the only way to get the power you want out of your 1.4 TDI engine (ca 150 HP) is fitting a bigger turbo charger. The size of your current intercooler will be still OK for 150 HP. Also no stronger clutch and no different gearbox is required.

Besides different turbochargers he offers a full range of diagnostics and also of bigger fuel PD injection elements (larger fuel volume to burn = even more power).

(this kit actually is offered for the "ATL" 90 HP 1.4 TDI engine but Mr. Kaufmann will probably do that conversion for the 75 HP "AMF" or "BHC" 1.4 TDI engine as well:

Last not least, if you feel the need for even more boost you may add a high quality water injection system to your new turbo-conversion.

Holy Smoke!! 150BHP.... Wow... Thats a fair bit of cash though. I bet that A2 goes like stink. :eek:

I had better start saving. I wonder if Stealth would take a job like that on?? :cool:

Tanks up over 130 but that did start as a 90, but the thing it is only a 3 potter and how much do you want from this ???

I had mine done and i'm very happy with just over the 100 hp, i would keep it as it is and get your self another car that you can get what you need out of it or get a bike (motor) that is lol
