Recommendations for audio

Hi I am looking for advice recently purchased another a2 with original chorus tape deck looking for options to change this for another single din unit like the look of the blaukunpt but read there might be issues with the antenna compatibility. I have seen the connects 2 option which would plug into the original unit and give handsfree option as well as streaming. Just wondered if anybody had found any other options for a direct replacement unit with phone capability/dab etc.
 
If the Chorus is the original fit, there will be no Diversity antenna controller, so, other than the need to fit a "phantom" antenna supply for the single antenna amp in the hatch, there's no antenna issues at all, as long as the new radio is FM/AM only. If you want DAB, you'll need to fit a dedicated DAB antenna.
So, the single DIN radio world is your oyster.

Thanks for the clarity Mac like the look of the blaukunpt Madrid not to different from the chorus just wondered if anybody has fitted one of these and if you can get an adaptor for the wiring loom do not like cutting into iriginal loom.

@Cenick has a Madrid, and so have I, although I haven't fitted it yet. My Concert is faulty, and I had intended to swap it out. But the fault seems to be a dodgy connection at the antenna socket, and having the Diversity, going aftermarket is not straight forward. So, I've sent the Concert of for repair, and hope that goes well.
I'll report back on how the repair goes. I have the bits to make an adaptor for the Madrid, which may be surplus to requirements.
