Scuttle panel question

Quick question folks, does the scuttle panel retain the same part number throughout the entire A2 production or does it change to accommodate the newer/ larger jet washers found in the later production models?

Thanks in advance!

I am pretty sure this is the older version, rectangular (well I hope it is, as I have one on the way from AT via Rick!).
8Z2819403D 01C RHD code.
I think the oval version is 8Z2819403E 01C, which sort of makes sense, but I cannot confirm that apart from 7Zap

Good Afternoon Again,

Just checked and the scuttle with washer jet rectangular holes is 8Z2819403D, see pic. With reference to the 7zap diagram I posted earlier fairly safe to assume 8Z2819403E is the other scuttle with oval holes, mind you I have no idea about the other 'satin black' part under item 3, rubber??

It is confusing. I am also using AT as a guide here, where they have included the 01C element in the code here

Perhaps there is a Matt Black and a Satin Black?

I can't tell until it turns up in a few weeks.
You may be correct with colour. When a plastic trim is to be coloured later the main part of the part number is included in the moulding, then whatever colour is then subsequently used is added often in the form of a little sticker after the part number, you may have noticed them if they have survived there's a lot in the cabin. If the part is vulnerable to weather and a sticker considered not up to the job then it appears the extra part info is stamped, notice the 'D' in my picture.

Same dilemma here, as I spotted one on AT but I am now pretty sure this is the early version, so not suitable for my 2004 car πŸ˜”
