My name is Phil.
I have been on this site many times. Mainly from 2003 onwards gleaning lots of information about the Audi A2. Mine (ours) was a black 2002 tdi sport.
Nearly fully loaded with leather seats Bose multi changer cd and cruise control. 1 year old when we purchased it with 10000 mileage. From Chester Audi. The first registered owners were Bentley cars. It’s been a fantastic reliable car that now has 139000 on the clock. Pros cheap to run, reliable, superb sports seats and fun to drive. Cons front suspension. 17” wheels susceptible to buckling with pot holes and the original windscreen wiper. We sold the car today and we are going EV with a Kia E-Niro. My wife thought I was going to be buried in the A2 but sadly I had to let it go. Many thanks for all the contributors on the site for your passion for this design icon of a car. I will stay a member if that’s allowed The new owner has joined the club today. Thanks everybod.

Welcome aboard Damian - great choice for your first car and with that spec and one owner for most of its life, it looks like you've picked a good one? There's everything you could wish to know about it on here and a lot of great people. The Search function on the forum isn't too great though, it ignores words shorter than 4 letters. Google is your friend there, just include 'A2OC' in your search terms. That said, feel free to ask away with any questions, we're all happy to help if we can.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Ive been learning for a year now and booked my test back in may for the 18th of October (covid). I had a rover 25 before and the a2 is definitely a big step up.
