Subframe swap, tale of woe. Opinion needed.

Unwittingly by my local tyre place adjusting the tracking before the subframe was aligned the chance of a crude subframe alignment might have been lost, as per the reassembly info.

The garage was adamant that my original steering rack was faulty, really don't know how as it was fine before and all I did was replaced in the same bolt holes.
Admittedly the second rack was leaking from both or the piston glands.
3 rd was a reconditioned one, and the steering feels lovely and light now, and corners on a dime. That's without proper alignment too.
Should have it back in the next few days. But I heartedly recommend changing subframes to one more modern, and the easy abily to change components.
