Guide The Best Way Of Getting An Audi A2 Workshop Manuals

Hi Fellow Members,

I have a 2004 Audi A2 1.4 TDI, the car is great to drive but recently I have had a couple of problems on the car.
Although I do enjoy a certain amount of mechanical work on the car, I realise that I am no mechanic.

Recently, I lost the 5th gear in the gearbox and although I cleaned inside the gearbox it has run until now.
I have been able to source a second hand gearbox for the car but have never changed a gearbox on a car to date.
It would great to have any advice on some really great manuals out there that other members have used and can endorse.

Ideally, I would like an e-manual of some kind that is in depth and I am able to print certain sections off depending on what tasks I'm doing at the time.

There are a few manuals out there but I value the advice of tried and tested names that work.

Thank you for taking the time in reading this call for help.

I look forward to what help other A2 Members can pass on.

I use Workshop-Manuals.com

It’s got all the info, but a bit fiddly to navigate, as the links between pages don’t seem to work properly so there’s a fair amount of flicking through different open tabs trying to find different torque strings or whatever.

I’ve been meaning to try and find a pdf or paper copy just for easier reference, but haven’t got round to it yet.

I’ve got the German version great for our motors

I've found the Haynes E manual to be useful. Doesn't cover everything, but was useful for brakes etc. Don't know if it'll give you much info on the gearbox, it's certainly not as complete as a traditional Haynes manual.

Got mine on eBay. It is the genuine Audi workshop manual in zipped pdf form. Just now checked and there are 5 available on eBay.
I don’t know if they are worth buying, it is a gamble.

Mac.

HI guys.
To everyone that that has responded, I would like to thank you all for your replies.
It has been fantastic to know that there so many other A2 drivers out there, where I'm living in the UK, rarely see another A2 on the road.
So much information that I can work with.
Thanks once again and I will let you know how I get on.

Cheers.
