Vcds lite tdi amf vs 1.4 bby

Hi,

I have free vcds lite and a new laptop, not sure on cable but it works fine with my 2002/03 amf tdi over last three years. Not had any issues.


Just tried to scan a 2005 petrol and it can only access the abs.

Any ideas how to get it to talk to it other than keep trying?

Try changing the latency to a much lower figure. Device Manager, comms port properties etc, I think.

If you're considering VCDS-Lite, then you obviously have a very limited budget for tools and we can't compete on price with Chinese eBay sellers. When choosing an interface for VCDS-Lite, we recommend getting one that's based on an FTDI FT232 Chip. They almost always work well if you manually configure the virtual COM port into an unused port in the range of COM1 - COM4 and set the latency timer to 2.
