Absolutely, Volico will recolour that rear cup holder. Disassemble for complete coverage and easier masking. Clean and dry the parts. First coat just a light mist to bond into the plastic then 2 or 3 normal coats to change the colour normally is enough. This should all be capable from one can but a second could find other uses.

Evening,

This thread should help you out:

I’ve recoloured 2x rear cup holders with the Volico product. The first time was Swing to Soul and I just about got away with 1 tin. The second time was Soul to Twist and used 2x tins.

If I was to do this again I would certainly use 2x tins for a robust paint build-up and depth.

Assume you’re going to Soul to blend into the vehicle in post #1. I have a Platinum rear cup holder here if that would help if this is. It the case.

It’s also work adding Wanted/Swap thread to the market forum as there could well be someone out there with the colour you’re after who would like Twist. After a bit of postage you could both have a factory finish you’re seeking.

Nice seats by The way; snap:

Hi Tom,
Yours looks much better being the right colour.
I really like the Alcantara/Leather seats just wish they were heated and still need to wire the lumbar adjustment in when I get the right connector.
Have you got a picture of your Platinum against your seats? as I would prefer not to dismantle and paint if possible.
My Twist rear cupholders came with the front brackets but have ordered the rear from Depronman so with the cost of these cupholders, brackets and paint it is adding up quite quickly.
Cheers

Evening Justin,

I might well have some spare connectors for electronic lumber in the garage. I’d have to check as I’ve used a few pairs recently.

I’ll drop the Platinum rear cupholder into the Project EUD A2 in the morning and add pictures here. It’ll no doubt look just as stand-out as your Twist item though. If no one stepped forward to offer your Soul swap and you wasn’t too keen on dismantling and to paint m then I’d happily help out if you’re ever passing by. Always keen to help other A2 owners out.

Kind regards,

Tom

Hi Justin,

You’re welcome to drop in whenever you’re local Sir. I’d be happy to assist you. Pictures to follow in the morning. My fleet is always here to have a look around to see what you might like to do to your own fleet, all the work I’ve done myself is documented and happy to share such details.

Kind regards,

Tom

Took it apart and gave it quick spray with Plastic-dip paint. Not brilliant as it is black and shiny but still better than the beige.
