I wondered that, but I think not, maybe some electrical parts, I have the original book for the towbar from audi, I enclose two cover pics for you

So basically it's an alko made product rebranded by audi

it has an 8E part number, so yes. The B6 version from ~2002 or 3 onwards is 8E.
