Windscreen washer bottle leak

Had the yellow warning to top up washer fluid t’other day. Filled to the brim with Home & Bargains finest. Did a short shop and when I came back noticed a small blue puddle under the front right corner.
Thinking I may have overfilled it I drove home only to find the bottle was empty.

I’ve read this is a bumper off job, but for now, can I just take the front headlight out, to flush water through the system and see where exactly the leak is?

If the undertray is off you can usually get pretty good access from underneath - it could equally be that the pump isn't quite pushed home (I think it is only held in by friction from an o-ring), or even the pipe going to the spray units may have split as they can be quite brittle.

I had similar problem - the leak is usually trough the pump (the OEM one has a special hole that keeps the water away from the electrical part when the main seal fail. To replace the pump you need to take out the wheel arch cover (the bumper stays on).
