Hello!

Have you found good winter tires for your 1.2 TDI ? How the car behaves on different tires and does it have a big difference in fuel consumption? This narrow standard size is difficult to find. Internet tire vendor http://www.reifenversand.com/onlineshop/ has a good selection of 145/80R14 tires and affordable price:

BRIDGESTONE
145/80 R 14 Q TL Blizzak LM-18 76

CONTINENTAL
145/80R14 76T TL TS 760

DUNLOP
145/80R14 76T SP WINT,SPORT M3 MS TL

But I don't have any idea how much it would cost to ship these tires and how long it will take. Thus it looks like that I'm going to order Dunlops from my local tire shop, even they said it will take at least one month to get them.

With best regards,
Jones

Hi, i have received my set of contis today from http://www.ReifenDirekt.de. Delivery is free within Germany, but needs to be checked for Finnland.

CONTINENTAL
145/80R14 76T TL TS 760

Cost was 191Euro for 4Tires. I will use the original alu-wheels because there are no steel wheels available for the 1.2TDI and another set of alu's.....

Hope this is usefull.

Hello!

I have the Conti´s as winter tires, too.... The Car does not handle differently with the winter tires, they are a bit louder, though. I also put the onto the summer rims, because the only rims that you are allowed to use on the 1.2 are those, and another set is way too expensive for my taste...(180€ per Wheel, according to the dealer...)

Bye, Frido.
