Rear Bench Seat

My first post - and soon to be A2 owner!

Living a long way from any Audi dealer, I have spent the last week or so phoning around dealers rather than visiting and have narrowed my list down to three TDi SE demonstrators. I really fancy the one with a rear bench seat. It is really important that this can be removed as the split fold ones can. The salesman didn't seem too sure when I asked!

Any one here with the bench seat who can confirm that it can be removed? How easy is it?

Yes it can be removed, we wanted the singles as its more practical for us (see the Long Term Test in the Newsletter) but you need somewhere to store it/them when there not fitted. It is just as easy to remove as the singles as it uses the same locking/fixing system..
