As you can see, avatars are now available on the forum. For those of you who don't know what an avatar is; it is the small picture of superman shown to the left of this post.

I've had a few teething problems but they will be sorted out over the next few days and I will also add many new avatars before the end of this weekend.

You can also send me your own avatar if you want but it must be 65x65 only and [u]not</u> animated.

If you would like to add an avatar, please select one from within your profile.

i am on a apple macintosh computer using internet explorer 5

i just see a 'broken-image' thing where i'm guessing the avatar should be...

is the path to the gif correct?

Gerard, I'm not sure why they are not being shown on your PC, but I am now logged in on another PC and I can still see them.

Can anyone else not see them?

I can see them on the forum posts, however in the profile section, when you select them from the drop down list, there seems to be 4 of each number, and only one works, the other three display the red cross (image not found).

I also can't see them and I'm using a Mac. Please dont make this a Mac unfriendly site! A2's and Mac's were meant for each other - dare to be different and all that...

I'm not a mac unfriendly person. But I really don't know what the problem could be!! Kaine may be able to advise as he helped install the avatars mod. The thing is that if everyone else can see them and you can't then what am I to do?!!

I can't see them on my Mac using either Safari or Explorer. This is very unusual as everything works so much better on a Mac... generally
