Is this something that can be retrofitted? Is it just a "software" upgrade or?

Just realised that maybe this means some sort of control has to be fitted to the steering wheel as well... unless it can be controlled via the "knobs/sticks" on the dashboard?

From the pictures in the A2 brochure, it looks like the central LCD display is larger for the DIS. i.e. you would have to fit a new dashboard. Also the DIS is controlled from the left (?) indicator stalk, so a new one will be required.
I find that just knowing how many miles I can do per 1/4 tank is sufficient enough (this is all I would use DIS for)

It can be retrofitted but you need a new dash pod (circa £400) plus the control stalk, plus some additional sensors and the required wiring, havent worked out exactly what sensors yet though.
