I like the front, back hatch a little old ford fiesta, side rear a little corolla, but overall it's fairly nice.

Bet it rides well if it's new focus platform.

yip it should ride very well... and be fare more distinctive than a Focus. The Mazda6 and Focus are my two all time favourite cars re handling. Both are fun, surefooted and comfortable, but can also do the twisties admirably... so this 3 is a mix between the 2 and should be good...

But somehow it looks more Japanese than the 6... the 6 looks very European to me and is gorgeous from any angle... this 3... hmmm... I'd rather do a Megane looks wise I think, though handling wise I'd do the 3! So I'd stick to the A2 then!!!

The front of this 3 reminds me of those Chrysler wagon thingies. LIke you say, not a patch on the 6, but still, has better taillights than the Audis!
