A nifty little five-disc changer from Blaunpunkt that's only 1-DIN size and costs £165. Has anyone had any experience of fitting one of these? No cassette, so you can take discs out while others are playing.

Was thinking it could either fit (a) in the cubby box slot under the existing head unit (I have the Concert single-CD) or in the single-DIN nav-sat slot in the boot.

I had one of these as standard fitment in my old Punto. It was rigged up to a Blaupunkt sat-nav system. Never skipped but ocassionally took a dislike to a disc - after cleaning the disc, all OK again.
You get a slight break in music (about 1 sec) if you eject one disc while listening to another. Also has it's own security code which is input via the head unit.
Never actually removed mine but I think it sits in a cage and uses the same removal tool as many of the head units - the bent coat hanger.
Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.
Was a 1.4SE petrol. http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/uk14.htm http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/safety.htm
New A2 on order - Ebony Black, Red Leather + many other options.
