If anyone knows of any really affordable front fog lights going, then I would be interested.
As I would like front fogs on my A2 but the Audi price is a bit too expensive for me, as I think they would make my car look nicer.

Again, have you checked out VAG Parts. They do a kit which includes all parts except wiring and relay. Costs £154.91 + VAT.
Hope this helps

I maybe wrong in saying this but isn't that more expensive than buying them from Audi? As I'm sure that Audi's are about £125 ish? I'm now guessing that I've probably got this wrong so I will investigate!
Thanks Shaf.

Don't forget that you get 10% off the VAG Parts price - if you are a member of the A2OC!!

Good point Stuart, but sadly I'm not a member and no new members are permitted to join now due to the closure so I can't benefit from your discounts. I'm just a forum member I'm afraid!

The Audi price is probably for one - would be worth checking!

I've just used the Audi configuring thing on the site, and it's £125 on there which will be fitted. Ok, there maybe a slight increase aftermarket but I doubt it's going to be that much. The fogs from VAG com are without wiring or relay and then I'll have to get Audi to fit them on top of that, which will probably cost a days labour! That's an expensive addition for effectively two small lights! I'm going to phone Audi to find out the cost...

I think you will probably find there is a huge difference between an option fitted at manufacture and the same option fitted aftermarket. For example, the ISOFIX option for £70 includes passenger airbag deactivation switch - to have this done aftermarket will apparently cost approx £300 from a dealer.
Possibly worth phoning an Audi parts dept and asking for the cost of 2 complete front fogs. Then add in at least 2hrs labour for fitting, possibly a lot more.
Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.

Try ebay in Germany - www.ebay.de. What you want is "Nebelscheinwerfer Audi A2" As I write there's a pair on offer for €78 - about £55. Obviously not every German seller will deal with someone outside Gemany, but you could try. Maybe an A2OC member in Germany could help. This item looks popular, judging by the number of bids so far.
