According to www.vca.gov.uk database (confirmed by Audi) the A2 has from Jan been EU4 emissions compliant, although they don't seem to want to advertise it. Does anyone know if the engine changed or was it just tested again ? I want to buy an A2 and want to be sure it's EU4 (being rather green tinged).

just a retune really
get an A2 1.2 TDI if you really want to be green! 86g/km CO2 and I'm getting 84mpg average.

I would, but I don't fancy LHD !
How do they get the particulate emissions so low ? I was going to get a Peugeot 307 but I couldn't get assurenace that the Cerium filter they use wasn't harmful !

The particulate filters as amazing but the A2 doesn't have them. The 1.2 TDi base model was EU4 compliant in 2001.
LHD ain't that bad in the narrow A2 - in fact right hand bends and looking down the inside is probably safer than RHD but lefties are not so good - but seeing as the 1.2 has almost as much torque as my old MR2 I'nm very happy - got 110mpg over 29 miles in rush hour on DIS the other day.
It's also insurabel now - see ABI website:
