160HP TDI

The new Golf coming out next spring is going to have a 160HP 2litre turbo diesel engine. The A2 would have a top speed of around 228km/h or 142mph if fitted with this engine.

Would this be a good idea?

A six Speed 160Bhp (Chipped to 200BHP) A2. Just think what it would be in competition with, all the newish Hot hatches (206 GTI 180, Cooper S, Civic Type R?). You get the picture though a little pocket Rocket. May be the addition of the Haldex would see the 'S' Badge adorn it`s first Diesel & A2 Model. This sort of car i would be willing to pay £18-19K for. There you go Audi there is your brief, give me a call when your done.
