According to the artical its got 24bhp more ??? that would make it 99bhp and not the 89 quoted?? I think there is an error in the figures.

Are A2 owners being ripped off with the 2004 TDI?

I assumed it would get a new 1.5 4-valve engine, but it appears the revised A2 gets the old 1.4 2-valve engine, albeit with a bit of tweaking for EuroIV.

Does anyone know whats going on?

As far as I know, they tweaked the engine a little and added a new turbo with variable turbine geometry....but basically the engine stays the same.
