Hi

I have seen the picture of the Audi Bike Rack system in the A2OC gallery but have not been able to find these for sale anywhere, and my local Audi dealer knows nothing about it.

Can anybody suggest where I might find one of these or alternatively a roof rack system that will work with thye open sky sunroof (I am sure there is nothing but is worth asking if anybody knows)

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

I'm sure this was discussed recently but sorry, cant remember what the outcome was - think it was decided it wasn't really available.

I recently asked Roofbox.co.uk what would fit my A2 and they suggested the following as the solution:

Pendle strap-on rear carrier PNSO for maximum 3 bikes £66.95

I've bought from them in the past and found them excellent so maybe worth a try at www.roofbox.co.uk

Indeed, it was discussed before. See this link for a result:

or this link for the discussion that lead to it:

Short summary:
1. the rear mounted rack does not exist.
2. It is possible to fit a rack on an A2 with open sky, but it does entail a certain risk and in some countries you could end up not being insured (at least Germany afaik)
3. racks exist from both audi and 3rd party suppliers. A Thule was fitted to an open sky.

Happy reading...
