Good game, even 'er indoors enjoyed it, had she been there the ref would have been torn to pieces though.
Not being medically minded, I can't understand why rugby players take a real battering, get up and play like demons, whilst soccer players fall to the floor in agony if someone walks too close to them. What is this medical condition? We should be told.

I've been away for a couple of days at the coast and ended up listening to the extra time on 5 live in the car (yes it picked up some AM stations). Parked at Hastings and got some very strange looks when I celebrated Wilko's drop goal - only to then hear a huge cheer erupt from a pub just down the road. Brilliant atmosphere.
Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.

Never been so nervous watching a game in my life. Man of the match?? I'd go for Billy (JR) - any other offers?

the obvious one - Johnny - or Martin Johnson, who played extremely well. Just thinking about this as I type, there could have been 6 or more England players who could claim a crack at MoM and one or two Aussies played an awesome game as well! What a team performance though....I don't think you'll see many teams play that well together very often!
2003 better than 1966???????

Of course Johnny is God, however wouldn't say man of the match. Martin is a good contender though.

From my point of view, yesterday was far better. Two reasons;
1) I wasn't born in '66
2) Not a football fan

Johnny is the best at what he does - be a fly half, but without the big guys like Johnson, Dallaglio or even Back (who all played superbly) he wouldn't be able to score all those points.
Johnny Wilkinson will be Sports Personality of the Year and the squad will get team of the year.
As for the '66 or '03 thing. Yesterday was good but an hour later in town everything was pretty normal - I just can't see that happening if we ever win the football world cup again. 90% of the country will be euphoric and dancing in the street.
