A2 TDi cruise control, help!!!!

Hi everyone, just bought a '53 reg A2 TDi Colour Storm SE & have already started looking for upgrades/mods!!! Can anyone help?? I have just been looking on Ebay Germany & somebody is selling the indicator stalk that includes the Cruise control controls & they say that cruise is fitted to ALL A2's, you just replace the stalk???!!! Does anybody know if this is true?? I have heard about manufacturers have identical wiring looms in cars for things such as fog-lamps (just install your switch & lamps) but this seems a little strange?? Also, someone is selling an original Audi A2 Satnav unit (with the colour screen), is that just a matter of plugging it in or is there more invloved??

It is all to do with the K-Bus system since the A2 use`s a fly by wire throttle it is is only an electonic pulse being sent so it is easily replicated by the stalk, however if you do a search on here you will find that it is not a straight forward swap.

Sat nav would be very expensive & tricky, speed sensors & Gps for one and secondly you would need a different climate control unit the sameas the symphony one as the double din unit of the nav would occupy your current climate position unless you have symphony.
