Audi A2 receives German "Design Oscar"

Special honour for the Audi A2: German President Johannes Rau presented the Audi A2 with the "Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2002" today at the opening of the Frankfurt Autumn Fair "Tendence". Three products of outstanding design quality received this award. 16 other products, including the Audi A4 Saloon, received official recognition as competition finalists.

Except that if you have driven and lived with one it fails. My mate has one and has reverted to his ROVER! 600 (L reg) as his regular drive as the TT is so soft, even by GT standards. Alfa's GTV is MUCH better and the underpinnings (apart from the passive rear steer is ancient - Tipo)
