Still deciding whether to buy A2 1.6 FSI or VW Polo Sport 1.4 FSI (my wife has a VW Polo 1.4 SE FSI).
One of the issues to resolve is the servicing costs for the A2, which at 19,000 miles (2 years, variable) will cost £250 up-front at my local Audi dealer vs £162 for the Polo.
However, when I recently read Renault's sales literature, you only pay a mere £8.50 per month to cover all of your service and maintenance costs when buying a new Renault!
That's far better than having to find the service costs all at once. It's a pity that Audi can't come up with something similar for the A2.

When I bought my Audi, I paid £150 (or was it £100) for the first 30,000 miles servicing. OK, may have meant maybe only one service with the VSI, but IIRC it included brake items too.

Audi do this kind of service thing, we were offered it when we bought ours, it was a 3,5 or 7 year thing and you got MOT's, tyres, brake parts etc... but the cost was to much for the amount we travel, about £45 month (I think, was 18 months ago).
We also looked at the new polo but were not pleased with the way it handled, our old polo was far better...

Why not create your own service plan and just save £10 a month? Over two years thats £240, enough for the first service.

FOR THOSE LUCKY PEOPLE THAT CAN AFFORD A A2 THE SERVICING IS REASONABLE COMPARED WITH THE COST OF THE CAR OR YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF
OR THERE ARE CHEAPER CARS YOU CAN BUY WITH CHEAPER SERVICING BUT NOT HAS GOOD HAS THE A2
