I have 162 SE rims on FSi. Suspension is good as they uprated for the FSi but looks could be better - but traction and steering feel could be better. I was wondering if anyone has experience of buying one or a set of these - must be genuine. Alternatively, i was thinking of going to 195/45 tyres on the SE rims. Any experience out there?

If not too much off topic, anyone with rear discs had problems of rust as they don't get used much unless under anger due to electronic brake pressure control.

195/45R16 tyres are best suited to 6.5" rims. The standard 185/50R16 tyres will work better on the 6" SE rims as the sidewalls are better supported.

This is a common problem on the A2. If you do a search on the forum, you should find many threads about it, and also some owners solutions too.

Kaine-you sure? I thought it was rear drums rusting where the problems lay?

As for discs-I take it a good run and brake session doesn't help?

Your right Steve - sorry, not reading it properly - I was replying reference drums not discs.
